What is the most important part of your work day at the firm?

I would say the most important part of the work day happens when I have actually helped a client.

How important is it to have a team environment at the firm?

A team environment is extremely important because it provides support, camaraderie and the knowledge we are all working with the same goals in mind.

Describe anyone who stands out for you (mentor or someone who helps you get the job done; i.e.  an employee who works with you, a spouse, a partner, or someone influential in your life)

I worked for someone many, many years ago. She was an excellent mentor and became a good friend. Her work ethic, “can-do” attitude and never give up approach to supporting clients and co-workers were and still are truly motivating.

What are the most important values you believe are necessary for the firm?

Positive attitude; willingness to learn and be available to help whenever asked.

What characteristics do you have that match the firm (or vice versa)?

I love helping people.

What life experiences have helped you along the way (family, sports, volunteering, challenges)?

I have lived in many places throughout the years. Each move created a start-all-over situation … from meeting new people, settling children in schools … these situations forced me to climb out of my comfort zone.

Describe your family.

I have two sons, a junior in high school and a junior in college. Also have three cats and two dogs.

How do you like to spend your personal time away from the firm?

I love listening to music, especially Bruce Springsteen; attending high school football games, watching college basketball, reading, hanging out with friends.

What is your favorite book?

To Kill A Mocking Bird

What is your favorite movie?

Wuthering Heights

What is your favorite hobby or activity to do in your free time?

Talking to my best friend who lives in Hawaii.
