Q: How long have you been with LN&S?
A: I started in July, 2007.
Q: What brought you to LN&S?
A: The position sounded most interesting, and matched my skills.
Q: What is the most important part of your work day at the firm?
A: When I go out to meet clients the most important part of my day is to make sure the client feels comfortable with LN&S and glad that they have chosen us to represent them.
Q: How important is it to have a team environment at the firm?
A: Very. I feel like everyone is seeking to work for the same goals. That everyone will work together. The feeling of family makes the work more rewarding. I feel like there would be someone to back me up if I needed help. There are no petty office politics and everyone really works together.
Q: Describe anyone who stands out for you (mentor or someone who helps you get the job done; i.e. an employee who works with you, a partner, or someone influential in your life)
A: My dad was my hero and inspiration. He worked 3 jobs to pay for college and law school. He was a trial lawyer and practiced until he died one month short of his 95th birthday. He treated his clients like they were gold, never giving less than 100% .
Q: What are the most important values you believe are necessary for the firm?
A: A real interest making the client whole, treating them with compassion and caring , and always maintaining excellent legal skills.
Q: What characteristics do you have that match the firm (or vice versa)?
A: I care about people being treated fairly. I am detail orientated. I want a job to be done the best way possible.
Q: What life experiences have helped you along the way (family, sports, volunteering, challenges)?
A: Being a young attorney in charge of a section in the law department of a major corporation. I learned about the importance of details, the hard way, as the official score keeper of a professional Basketball team (Washington Bullets).
Q: Describe your family.
A: I have a wonderful wife Carol who keeps me sane. A lovely daughter Darcy who lives in NJ and just got married. I am the proud dad of a soccer star teenage son Brendan. I have two crazy Golden Retrievers Bitsy 7 months, and Samantha (Wammer for short) who is eleven.
Q: How do you like to spend your personal time away from the firm?
A: With my family when I can’t get a tee time.
Q: What would you like your legacy to be?
A: That my children spend their life being happy.
