Q:  How important is it to have a team environment at the firm?
A:  Being part of a team is empowering and keeps us focused on our clients.

Q:  What are the most important values you believe are necessary for the firm?
A:  I believe the most important values that are necessary for a firm is our client service and we go above and beyond for our clients. We truly put them first.

Q:  What characteristics do you have that match the firm (or vice versa)?
A:   I have a great client service philosophy that matches the firms. I enjoy talking with our clients and helping them in defending their rights.

Q:  What life experiences have helped you along the way (family, sports, volunteering, challenges)?
A:  My church is very important to me and has taught me the act of selfless giving. I enjoy working with Operation Inasmuch and leading the youth at our church. I played sports and it taught me the importance of being a team player.

Q:  Describe your family.
A:  I am originally from Biloxi Mississippi and met my husband in Myrtle Beach. I transferred to Methodist University soon after we met and we have been married for 24 years. We have two daughters in college, one at ECU and one at UNC. We also have a dog named Nutmeg.

Q:  How do you like to spend your personal time away from the firm?
A:  I enjoy tailgating and enjoy UNC and ECU football games.  I love the beach and enjoy daily walks with my dog.  I also have started to learn to play golf.

Q:  What would you like your legacy to be?
A:  A Christian wife and mother.

Q:  What else is important we know about you?
A:  I have an unusual sense of humor. Most things that tickle my funny bone are not funny to others.

Q:  What is your favorite book?
A:  To Kill a Mockingbird

Q:  What is your favorite movie?
A:  Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.

Q:  What is your favorite hobby or activity to do in your free time?
A:  Participating in 5K’s and trying to beat my previous time!
