Taking Your Case to Court

So what happens if you cannot settle your case with the insurance company? You have two choices:

  • Abandon your case or accept a lesser amount than what is fair, or
  • File a lawsuit

Our firm does a tremendous amount of litigation. We believe this is important because we must let the insurance companies know that we are not afraid to take a case all the way. If the insurance companies do not believe we will fight, they have no incentive to offer the top dollar value in your case. When searching for an attorney, you should choose a firm with an aggressive policy on litigation and who tries several cases a year to maintain respect from the insurance companies.
